Probably the best meal I’ve ever had in Wilmington shout out to the chef Austin, so creative and yet so good! Ended it with dessert, which was also amazing, especially the donut of the day!
My husband and I dined at Covey while celebrating our anniversary in Wilmington. What an incredible experience! Our reservation was for Friday dinner, and the service and atmosphere were both wonderful. The food was "close your eyes while you savor it" delicious. Do not skip the potato pave -- AMAZING. For entrees, I had the swordfish, and my husband had the ribeye -- both were prepared PERFECTLY. We ended the meal with seasonal desserts, which is when I finally pulled out my phone to take a pic because by this point I knew I'd be leaving a 5-star review. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
What a pleasant surprise this spot was. We arrived here on a warm day and we were able to enjoy the patio. The fried chicken was very good and the shrimp and grits was a classic. They had plenty of great desert choices and the scene was mostly dressy but not stuffy. A place I would certainly consider again if I made it back to Wilmington
Allison, our waitress, was simply wonderful. We knew from the start that we were going to enjoy our food when we asked Allison if a special wine was available at the restaurant and then she called Brian to ask him and when the wine was not available, offered us a trial of an alternative wine and we loved that one so much, we brought the rest of the wine home with us. Even though we had an issue with the coffee and dessert, we felt we should post a star 5 review.
I stopped in for a drink at quick dinner at the bar as I had heard about the place from a server at a downtown Wilmington restaurant. The bartenders were friendly, the food delicious and prompt and the atmosphere very sophisticated for Wilmington. I was reminded of being in a country club. It's not a place for I'd bring friends for a casual dinner although you could, it's a bit more elegant or citified.
My husband and I drove through from Florida and we ate dinner here! The decor and calm atmosphere was amazing! Our server Avery was so sweet and friendly. The food was impeccable this chef is really talented. Enjoyed the tuna tartare and the beet salad so very much! The halibut was good and the desserts were delicious. So glad we found you near our hotel!
We went in for a romantic date but I’ve been here for other occasions and this place IS the place to go to! Potato pave is an absolute must to try! Our cocktails were delicious and the service was on point!
The best hidden gem in Wilmington!! Chef Austin was AMAZING! The soft shell crab was absolutely delicious, as was the ribeye. I cannot even describe to donut of the day! Truly I cannot recommend enough! Twelve out of ten stars!!!! I will be back.
